Cairo is the capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa, with more than 25 million inhabitants. It is one of the oldest cities in the world and is famous for the Pyramids of Giza, the only remaining wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. If you are in Egypt, you have the opportunity to visit the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum with treasures of Tutankhamun.
The Program: You will be picked up from your hotel at approximately 1:00 AM, and we will drive to Cairo with two professional drivers. We’ll take a 20-minute break halfway. In Cairo, we’ll start with the Egyptian Museum, which houses more than 80,000 artifacts. A trained Egyptologist will show you the most famous and beautiful ones over two hours. You’ll get to see Tutankhamun’s treasures on the second floor and two genuine mummies. After the museum, we’ll have lunch at a restaurant near the pyramids. There are also opportunities to shop for Egyptian specialties, such as papyrus and natural essences used for perfumes and body oils. We’ll visit a perfumery where you’ll be introduced to the Egyptian method of producing fragrances without alcohol or chemicals. After this, we’ll visit the Pyramids of Giza. We’ll make three stops at different sides to see all the pyramids. The final visit will be to the impressive Sphinx, a 70-meter-long and 20-meter-high lion with a human head, whose smile remains a mystery to this day. Once we’ve completed all these visits, we’ll return to Hurghada, with a break halfway. We expect to be back at the hotel at approximately 9:30 PM.
